How to Prepare for Your Session

A few simple things to prepare before your maternity, newborn, or baby photoshoot with us.

Maternity Photoshoot

Already chosen your outfit and style at booking? If you'd like to finalize or change it, browse our website, Instagram, or Facebook page, screenshot your pick, and send it to us via WhatsApp (+65 9760 0798) before your session.

  • Prepare a strapless bra and low-cut underwear, preferably nude — plus one black set if your chosen outfit needs it. A nude nubra helps for nude-style shots.
  • Heels are optional for a more fashionable look — try them on beforehand, as feet can swell during pregnancy.
  • Bring baby's clothes, shoes, toys, or your ultrasound image as props — they make the photos more meaningful.
  • If your partner is joining, prepare a matching plain-colour outfit for him too — avoid large or distracting prints.

Newborn / Full Month Photoshoot

🍼
Prepare for extra feeds during the shoot — babies often need extra milk when unsettled by position or outfit changes.
🍼
Bring a pacifier, even if you don't use one regularly — it can help settle baby quickly between poses.
👶
Bring extra diapers — at least 2 if you'd like naked shots included.
🎀
Bring meaningful keepsakes to include in the shoot — ultrasound image, parents' rings, baby's first toy, and similar items.
👕
Prepare your own outfits for family shots — plain colours, avoid busy prints; bring extras if doing naked poses with baby.
🧸
If siblings are joining, bring their favourite snack or toy to keep them cheerful during the shoot.
✂️
Trim baby's nails beforehand — baby won't wear mittens during the shoot, and long nails can scratch their face.

Baby Photoshoot (3 Months – 1 Year)

Already chosen your setting at booking? Review the age-appropriate style guide here if you'd like to change it:

Outfits are provided, but you're welcome to bring your own too.

What to Prepare

  1. Let baby rest well and get sufficient sleep before the photoshoot.
  2. Prepare outfits for family photos — plain, pastel colours preferred, with hair accessories for girls.
  3. Bring milk, snacks, and water — we can take a break or a short power nap partway through if baby gets tired.
  4. Bring a few of baby's favourite toys.
  5. Let us know baby's favourite games, tricks, or videos in advance (e.g. peekaboo, rolling a ball, watching baby shark) — it helps us capture natural smiles.
